2nd METABOLIC WORKSHOP: THE AMINOACIDURIAS AND THE ORGANIC ACIDURIAS

Following the recent successful meeting at the Investec Building in March 2009, the Western Cape Metabolic Interest Group decided to go "national" and invite those who attended (and those who were unable to attend) to join the National Metabolic Group of South Africa.
The aim of the group is to stimulate interest in metabolic disorders (the Inborn Errors of Metabolism or IEMs) by holding regular meetings around South Africa, getting interested people in other provinces to join, having case presentations and discussions regarding metabolic teaching and training, and posting information on our website and newsletter. The Group will also act as a quick reference source for those paediatricians, clinical pathologists, dieticians etc. with possible metabolic patients.
